D7

We are establishing the next evolutionary stage for correspondence systems on the path to autonomous document creation – D7. Artificial intelligence technologies are ideally suited to optimize the currently cost-intensive document creation process and to increase automation through intelligent assistance systems.

Why D7?

Optimized Customer Communication

Support customer acquisition and reduce churn rates, e.g. through the inclusion of additional customer groups (document accessibility) and the optimization of your communication and personalized outreach (powered by AI).

Efficiency Gains

D7 increases document creation efficiency through streamlined UX design and AI-driven automation up to fully autonomous creation. Intuitive interfaces and no-code approaches enable template management by business users, reduce costs, and shorten time-to-market.

E2E Integration

Through integration with various policy administration systems from msg systems ag, such as the msg.Insurance Suite, you can achieve additional cost savings by eliminating intermediate systems while streamlining your processes.

Security

D7 stands for the highest level of security, both through the use of state-of-the-art security technologies and through the reliability of the msg Group combined with D7's early lifecycle stage.

SaaS Solution

D7 is cloud-native and – through the use of state-of-the-art technologies – optimized for SaaS.

By outsourcing operations, you can reduce headcount in IT operations and deploy your experts where it is strategically most valuable – proactively address the skills shortage!

Co-Creation

Through the D7 User Group and development "Made in Germany", you have the opportunity to actively shape the product, contribute requirements directly, and prioritize them as part of the group.

D7 as a Central Part of Your Document Lifecycle

Communication has long since transcended the boundaries of the A4 document. Digital communication already encompasses a wide variety of channels and formats. This diversity places high demands on organizations that need to reach their customers quickly, efficiently, and in an accessible manner.

D7 Modules at a Glance

D7 Module

A business transaction often triggers various document creation processes. With the D7 Integration Layer, complex business transactions can be handled easily and clearly:

Shipment Management (also known as bundling management)
Splitting the business transaction into individual shipments and monitoring the components of each shipment.

Copy Control
Certain recipients (e.g. agencies) receive copies of documents or partial documents. Copy control identifies the document parts to be copied and adds them to the shipments.

Dispatch Channel Control
Control of permitted dispatch channels such as email, electronic portals, or physical mail.

Recipient Control
Control of alternative recipients (e.g. in the case of legal representatives).

The core of D7 is document creation with 3 different modules:

D7 Document Creator
In most organizations, the majority of documents are created without interaction and very efficiently. D7 Document Creator generates documents automatically and renders them into various standard formats. Attachments, e.g. from archives, can be added and customer-specific workflows can be configured.

D7 Interactive Document Creator
With the D7 Interactive Document Creator, documents can be created interactively by business departments. The responsive, accessible web interface is designed for ergonomic and efficient use, keeping document creation time to a minimum.

D7 Portable Document Creator
Document creation in the field or detached from central document creation enables independent document generation. Once the connection to the central system is established, the repository and created documents are synchronized.

The created documents are prepared in dispatch management for the selected dispatch channel:

D7 Dispatch Manager
D7 Dispatch Manager controls the dispatch channels – both physical (via PDF, AFP, etc.) and digital (PDF/A, PDF/UA, HTML, etc.). D7 Dispatch Manager is based on a workflow management system and enables the orchestration of various (micro-)services, e.g. for archiving or handoff to external print service providers. Shipments are monitored through the workflow and displayed in a business monitoring dashboard.

D7 Dispatch Pool
D7 Dispatch Pool contains the rendered documents and serves as a central interface for output management. This allows not only individual documents but also batches of documents (e.g. end-of-day runs) to be processed by downstream systems.

In template administration, templates and their contained building blocks are created, edited, or deleted. All changes are staged through different environments.

Templates in D7 are split into two components: template frames, which contain the organization's corporate design, and template content, which contains the actual communication. With D7, a template is always available in all output formats for greater flexibility in downstream processes.

D7 Frame Designer
With D7 Frame Designer, template frames can be created that include standard elements such as a logo or board member bar as well as corporate styles.

D7 Content Designer
With D7 Content Designer, template content can be created. Content administration can be done in two ways: in the document structure (for experienced users) or in the graphical view. Thanks to the user-friendly interface, template content administration can be handled directly by business departments to minimize time-to-market for new templates.

D7 Quality Manager
D7 Quality Manager identifies deviations and keeps regression testing costs low.

D7 Staging Manager
The staging workflow orchestrates different test environments with D7 Staging Manager. The promotion of modified objects to production is a critical process, as in the worst case, all created documents could be affected by an error.
